We will be open from the 15th of May 2010 and hoping for better weather
than we have had for the last three years, at least in July and August
Coming and looking around the flower field is free and so is our sunflower maze (Open from mid July and ideal for children). You only pay if you want t o take away some of our flowers - and then from as little as 50p for a small bunch or £5 for a 'bucket-full'.
22nd July Coming up on the 25th July is our 'creative day' well, it's the second of a series of them in fact. Nothing really organised but anyone who wants to turn up with some art materials and create something will likely find some like minded people to have a chat to and exchange ideas, tea coffee and cakes provided. Come any time although we may have been to Stourhead the night before and may not appear much before noon.... On the flower front things are looking up after the drought (well the fantastic June weather). Sweet peas are coming back with longer stems etc.. I will have to plant out the young Eryngium this weekend as it doesn't like root disturbance when larger. Hopefully these will provide even more variety this time next year.
